Tips, tricks, struggles and the life of being a writer.

Audio Recording

I’ve been trying something new. For Xmas, Monkey bought me a voice recorder. Since I commute 45 minutes to work, I have decided to try using this as time to do some writing by dictation. I’m not sure how this will go. The thing is that I often find my brain grabbing onto an idea while I am in the car and then forgetting it by the time I have a chance to write it down. This lets me capture those ideas as they are coming to me. The up side is that I can catch those ideas as they come. I can Read the rest of this entry

I feel kinda like crud. I have this headache that is clawing at the back of my neck and digging up into the sides of my head. Throbbing and bleeding. Closing the eyes to shut out the light, but nothing changes the pain of it. There is something searing and gnawing at the bridge of my nose. Maybe that is the pressure point from which it will crack and the entire thing will come undone. Falling apart like blades of grass Read the rest of this entry

Free Writing

So, I have started sharing some of my free writes. I find them to be good exercises that let me just pour my thoughts out. I think not needing to worry about anything but the thoughts. I often end up writing about the same kinds of things that I would write if I were writing a Piggie Update, but those are something with more structure and are aimed at keeping people informed of the important things that (more…)

OMG. This was written on paper >.<

I’m excited about Writing Hallow. But the first step will be getting things set up so that people will want to join in. Frog has joined as a writer and that is exciting. I am looking forward to reading Froggy stuff ❤ and hope that she has fun doing it. There was a time that the Frog and I engaged in a lot of writing stuff together. Reading each other’s stuff, ramblings and even writing a few things together. I remember those time fondly. Not that I expect it to be the same, but I expect that it will be just as fun. 🙂

Writer’s Hallow

So, I just finished getting a new blog set up. It’s Writer’s Hallow. It’s just getting started and I am looking for fellow writers that are interested in working on prompts, exercises and sharing their work for feed back. If you’r interested, go on over and leave me a message that you’d like to be a writer there. 🙂

Thank You!

I cannot express how much I appreciate those who have been coming to read the stories I have been writing for the November challenge. The encouragement and comments have been lovely. I just want you all to know that I welcome any criticism you might have of my works. Getting input from my readers on any aspect of the stories will help my writing improve. Again, thank you so much for reading!
