Am I Religious?

Religious? No. Spiritual? Yes. Religion is a specific fundamental set of beliefs and practices generally agreed upon by a number of persons or sects which implies an organization of people who share ideas and worship together. I don’t participate in such social events. While I have nothing against them, I find them mostly pointless. I think that the journey towards the Divine is a matter for an individual to partake. Going to others for enlightenment will gain you nothing in your pursuit of personal understanding.

What I Believe

I was raised in a Latter Day Saint house hold and was baptized in that church when I was 8. I even went to the temple once. But somewhere near the end of high school, I began to question this set of beliefs. I’ve since become rather spiritual, but I don’t belong to any church or religion in particular.
