Restrooms, Gender, and Fear

I read this: On Restrooms, Gender, and Fear | glorify. And I was left feeling that the human race is retarded. I have a difficult time understanding how we have made such an issue out of which bathroom a person uses. To make someone so afraid, for any reason, is wrong. And to do it as a community is beyond vile. Why can’t we just make all the public bathrooms unisex? Throw up stalls or go for the singles. I find it weird that even the little bathrooms for one person at a time are marked with a gender designation. Why are we so weird about this? I like to think that I am pretty good at understanding people, but at the moment… I’m lost.
