The Kin of Ata Are Waiting for You
by Dorothy Bryant
This is an odd book. In the beginning of the book it moves between the two settings and to some degree weaves within time. This is a book about finding inner peace and coming to peace with the world around us. I found it interesting that there was so much importance given to dreams and dreaming. I have always been a dreamer. Most of the time that I sleep, I dream. While I know that these dreams are not real, they feel real and they feel like they carry a meaning that spills over into the waking world. I liked that they used this as a way to talk about how we need to have faith in goodness and how difficult it is to find that place inside ourselves that is the central seed of the Divine. Lovely book. Very worth reading.
