The Gingerbread Girl (audio book)
Written by Stephen King
This one had a pretty good emotional charge. There was a lot of focus on the way that people work through traumatic experiences. They way that some threaten to break us while others build us up. The main character was believable and I wanted to see her come through everything ok. The ending was mostly predictable. But there were a few points along the way in getting there that surprised me.
Narrated by Mare Winningham
Descent voice to listen to. Not my favorite narrator, but not the worst either.
