Poetry: Actions and Objects

Minimum length: 12 lines

Write a poem in which you include approximately one object and one action per line. Each individual line should make sense in and of itself, but don’t worry about connecting one line logically to the next. Consider writing the last line first, working your way upward through the poem to the first line, just to get used to the idea that poetic thinking can move forward or backward from any given point during the process of composition.
