Ramen #1

Alright, when it comes to cooking, I am essentially lazy. I go for easy and reasonable nutritional value before I go for tasty. Yeah, I know, it being tasty is important since if it’s yucky no one is going to eat it. That being said, I have made a few compromises that embrace the lazy cook while still making something that tastes pretty damn good.

Get a package of chicken ramen. Crush up the noodles and toss them in a bowl. Cover them with water. Stuff in the microwave. Cook on high for 3 minutes, stir 1/2 way through. Take out with pot holder. Drain noodles. Add in a tsp and half of butter. Mix in flavor packet. Toss in some mixed veggies (you know, the microwaved kind) and mix in. Then top it off with some cheddar cheese.

Not the most nutritionally sound, but I did say this was a compromise between lazy and tasty…
