I love to listen to music. It is something that has always helped me think and focus better. Silence is so distracting for me because every small sound becomes something bigger. When there is music playing it washes away those little sounds. If it’s music that I am familiar with, it fades into a background that occasionally breaks through to my attention. These small break throughs often stimulate my thought and offer little breathers in the frenzy of activity. For me, the best music for this is Blue October’s Foiled.
