Star Trek: The Next Generation

I grew up watching bits and pieces of this. Its on netflix now so I decided to revisit this TV show and watch it in order, from beginning to end, all 177 episodes. I’m glad that I did. I really enjoyed the show. There is a lot of humor (mostly presented by Data) and a great deal of topics worth thinking about. There is a great deal of focus on the “prime directive” and asking the question of what that means. Where do we draw the line in “helping” other people and other cultures? Is there such a thing as helping others too much? I found the ideas presented were thought provoking. However, if you’re not in the mood for thinking: there is plenty of action and a touch of eye candy.
