I don’t believe in fate.

Fate is fatalistic in my opinion. You make your choices and deal with the consequences. I believe that life is what we make of it. The meaning of life is what you decide it to be.

I think that if fate exists, there is no point in believing in it. It wouldn’t need faith to work. The idea of fate dictates that you have a path that you will follow, that you are inevitably going to make certain choices that will lead you into what ever you’re “suppose” to be doing.

I find this idea disheartening. I like to think that I have free will and can make choices for myself without the influence of an outside source. Fate is an idea that is connected to Divine control. What is the purpose of living if it is nothing more then a stage and we are merely acting out the parts that we have been given?

  1. no, i dont believe in fate cause we make our own desteny, and no god or anything else can chose what we do in life. besides i doubt any one would make a spacific plan or fate for ever one on earth.
