I love this book. Her writing is beautiful. It flows so elegantly across the page and is even more incredible to listen to as an audio book. It is thought provoking and sad. It speaks to the human condition. The writing style is so different then anything else that I have read. Its like stepping into the mind of someone else and following their thoughts. The point of view shifts and carries the reader into the minds of the various characters. Each has their own voice yet have that same prose that approaches poetry. One of the most pleasurable books I have ever read, solely because of the writer’s voice! The story itself is interesting, but a little vague. I liked the idea of life flow and family connections.
