Songs for the Road…

I love music. I am almost always listening to something. I will listen to anything but rap. I have Bach sitting on the shelf next to Tool. And everything in between is mixed in there some where!

Hate Me by Blue October

I find this song is one that makes me think about many things. It gets my mind off things (like a long road trip) and engages me in reflection. I love this song. I know its a bit on the dark side of things, but I find it to be very insightful. I love music that enspires thought or discussion.

Kryptonite by 3 Doors Down

Its got a good beat, easy to sing along with and presents as interesting idea. Sure, we can see how super heros would have to face the question of how deep their relationships run. But I think all of us have questioned this at some point in our lives. Again, a song that provokes thought.

I will not Bow by Breaking Benjamin

Great energy to this song! Another one I find I can really sing to. Something that you can really get into and sing with gusto. Another song on the darker side, but another one that inspires me to thought.
