To Have Loved and Lost

It is Better to Have Loved and Lost…

Love is a tricky thing. It always ends in loss. Even if it’s a great relationship that spans over decades, there will come a time when death separates the lovers. Fearing the loss of loved ones will only lead to isolation and despair. We are inherently social creatures and require relationships to have good psychological wellness. So, yes, it is better to have loved and lost then to never have loved at all. We are the richer for the people who cross our life paths. It is from other people that we gain perspective and experience new understanding regarding life and the universe in which we live.
